The DJI Osmo Pocket 2 has been rumoured for some time, but with proof now present on the USA FCC database, we can be sure that it will be arriving imminently!
The original DJI Osmo Pocket was very popular, providing 4K video quality in a portable form factor proved to be a hit, but ever since a sequel has been desired by consumers to ‘fill the gaps’ of the original model.
There is a suspicion that the new model may incorporate the 1/2″ camera of the DJI Mavic Air 2, this would provide even higher quality and bitrate for video.
The next version appears to also include USB-C but also features a wireless microphone of some form, this was a complaint of the original model that it had no external microphone input.
The entry appearing for public view on the FCC database strongly suggests that the release date will be imminent, watch this space!
