GoPro have just released yet another confusing yet inspiring teaser video for their new Karma Drone, but what does it mean?

Filmed at 4K resolution within a library, the teaser trailer for the new GoPro Karma drone tours the layout of a library, floating from ceiling height downwards and flying past people and through bookcases, demonstrating serious agility.

It is almost impossible to believe that this footage was indeed filmed via a flying drone, specifically due to the lack of audio (although the footage could be dubbed), but more so the lack of wind effect from the rotors on objects that it passes.

It is more likely that the video is merely a demonstration of the Karma camera and mechanical gimbal.

The GoPro Karma teaser starts at ceiling height and drops down to eye-level, flying in amongst people and in close proximity to obstacles!

More likely is that the footage was filmed via the camera of the Karma but with the drone held, although there would be no marketing advantage if that were the case.

Despite careful analysis, no reflections nor clues can be found from the teaser, there is no doubt that GoPro have been clever with their teaser strategy.

The GoPro Karma project has been plagued with delays and many have doubted that it would ever appear but the recent commitment to a date is positive news, coupled with the news that the GoPro Hero5 will accompany the Karma launch.

With the launch of Karma arriving on the 19th September, we will know very soon.
